Kurt: Speaking as someone who actually was an edgy teen during that era: We leaned hard into that whole vibe, like I literally was the guy making cryptic posts of nothing but Mudvayne lyrics in my LiveJournal to express the pain I felt in my soul. Then I grew up and realized how embarrassing all that shit was. Then I grew up more (well okay I was jettisoned into the void like a shed snake skin after Celine grew up more, but eventually I came back and now I'm getting caught up) and realized, you know what, that shit's still valid. Kurt: Heh. It's been a ride, and not everyone welcomed me as warmly as you did at first, for sure. It's been worthwhile, though, and, you know, we're in a good place now.

And hey, my experiences going through all that gave me a sort of "oh this sounds familiar..." edge when helping Echo out, and now Echo is here and something tells me you don't particularly mind that :> so it works out. Turning the pain into something worthwhile, a happy ending, something that makes things better for others, you know?

... You know, it belatedly occurs to us that we don't have a hugging one, either. I typically just use this one as a "close enough" version due to the Bulbasaur's arm posture and that :kjorteHype: expression.
