Therapists generally only feel the need to report things if you're threatening self-harm (or harming others, but something tells us you're not that kind of person.)
So when you have someone who's in enough of a crisis that the cops had to show just because their therapist was that worried about them, obviously what you do is you yell at them and make them feel like shit for the trouble. That's totally not going to cause issues with piling more negativity on someone who was already at their most vulnerable, or cause issues with how comfortable they feel talking to their therapist about the things that need to be talked about, or anything like that. A+ parenting and handling of the situation right there. /s
